I want to thank everyone on the PatternFly React team who worked on
getting out a UMD release of react-core and related packages. This is
what we needed to make PatternFly React components work on applications
that use SystemJs.
If anyone wants to see how to get this working, I created a bare-bones
demo app:

The app just displays a simple button from the @patternfly/react-core
library. The main thing to look at is the configuration required in
systemjs.config.js:
