*GENERAL INFORMATION:* *Title: Sr Network Engineer Consultant* *Work Location: Div/Branch: DC-NET: 655 15th St NW, Ste 400* *Region: Level 6- 440520* *For: Government of the District of Columbia* *Duration: 12 Months +* *Visa: Open* *Level: Senior* *Priority: high* *Interviews: Telephonic Only * *Rate: $70/hr on C2C* *Total experience: Must cross a minimum of 13+ years* *JOB SCOPE:* *1. **Sr Network Engineer Consultant Level 6 13-15 Years Senior Network Engineer Consultant with 8+ years of design, implement, and operate experience in a hybrid Service Provider & Enterprise environment using primarily Cisco and Ciena networking solutions.* *2. **"The Office of the Chief Technology Officer seeks a Senior Network Engineer to provide customer-facing consulting services, subject matter expertise, engineering services, and operational support as part of the engineering and architecture team in designing, deploying, and operating a mission-critical, converged network. * *3. **The objective of this procurement is to assist in the engineering, implementation, and operation of Government Service Provider Network supporting and connecting critical District of Columbia government infrastructure. * *4. **The individual will provide design recommendations based on industry expertise in requirements analysis, functional design, and deployment of complex technology solutions across enterprise and service provider networks. * *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* *1. **Requirements gathering related to implementation of technology solutions across enterprise and service provider networks. * *2. **Provide hands-on analysis and quality assurance for the DC Net network engineering team, leveraging industry expertise related to deployments of complex technology solutions. * *3. **Experience in analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of routers, switches, and firewalls. * *4. **Design/Implementation experience with Cisco ASR and Nexus platforms in a Service Provider environment supporting network data and voicesubscriber services "* *5. **The ability to think and work independently. * *6. **Technical and Business Problem solving skills with strong conceptual and analytical skills. * *7. **Speaks and writes effectively. * *REQUIRED SKILLS:* *1. **Analysis, design, and implementation of Cisco routers, switches and firewalls * *2. **Bachelors Degree * *3. **Cisco Certified CCNP or CCDP* *4. **Cisco Certified Required Internetwork * *5. **(CCIE) - Routing & Switching* *6. **Deep understanding of Encryption and Encapsulation Technologies such as IPSec and GRE * *7. **Design and Implementation of IP and MPLS in an ISP core network * *8. **Design and transition planning of IPv6 in a large scale ISP environment * *9. **Designing for F5 Load balancers in Cisco data center network environments * *10. **Effectively participate in group interactions * *11. **Excellent communication skills (oral and written) * *12. **Executive consultancy and design recommendations based on industry expertise * *13. **Hands on experience and Required deep understanding of routing protocols including BGP and OSPF Large Scale * *14. **Required Design/Implementation of Cisco ASR and Nexus platforms in an ISP environment* *CLIENT NOTES:* *1. **Must have their own laptop to perform daily functions (i.e. email, Office suite, Visio diagrams, security and network management applications and to* *2. **Candidate must be able to present validation of certifications including Cert #* *3. **Must be able to give education details including year of passing* *4. **Must give exclusivity for official consideration of the resume.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Visa Transfer OPT, CPT, PT, H1,H4" group.
