Experience with Asset Control or competing products will be a bonus.* *RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS:* *This person will support ASM (Asset and Security Master) and RDM (Reference Data Management) applications. Partners with clients to define scope and objectives based on business needs and thorough understanding of end-to-end business processes. o Contributes to discussions and forums for the creation and execution of business and technology roadmaps and overall product management. * *1. Leads requirements gathering sessions to evaluate and document existing business processes and future business needs for medium- to large-sized efforts. * *2. Works with business users and IT management to define business cases based on defined scope. * *3. Examines industry directions and trends and makes recommendations for ways to improve business processes and technology effectiveness. * *4. Facilitates the evaluation of complex business processes and future business needs to identify opportunities for improvement through the use of technology, including re-engineering business processes. * *5. Solves complex business problems through root cause analysis techniques. * *6. Integrates all aspects of business systems analysis and design to meet business requirements overall product solution. * *a. Works with development, engineering, and quality teams to drive solutions by communicating requirements and participating in complex systems/software design and architecture, prototyping and testing. * *7. Manages end to end product needs and solutions for business areas. o Translates complex business needs into functional and non-functional requirements including logical data models, reports and UI, and needed prototypes. * *8. Contributes in technical design sessions to ensure technical architecture will address current and future business needs. * *9. Evaluates solution alternatives including build, leverage and buy options and provides recommendations. * *10. Analyzes complex data and system needs for development work. * *11. Works with VMO and other groups to manage vendor relationships, SLA development and monitoring understanding vendor capabilities. * *12. Understands industry perspective on cloud computing and security standards for viability and recommendation of product solutions. * *13. Participates in the assessment of technical complexity and feasibility of integration implementation options. * *14. Adheres to reference architecture standards and integration assets in proposing solution alternatives. * *15. Works with appropriate team to perform test planning and participates in the preparation of functional test cases. * *16. Performs and documents functional testing to validate business requirements and to verify build quality. * *a. Manages projects and software releases and overall product quality delivery. o Monitors, controls and manages overall project execution, including budget, scope, structure, schedules, processes and resources. * *17. Coordinates team and stakeholder communications, including compiling agendas for standing meetings, creating project communications, status reports and facilitating project meetings. * *18. Manages project risks and issues. * *19. May engage with external vendors for the delivery of technology or services. * *20. Participates in the creation of the business case and project proposal. * *a. Serves as escalation support for systems/applications, and leads the development of user documentation and delivery of user training as needed. o Acts as a subject matter expert in the functional areas of the business, understanding workflow, data and supporting systems/applications to provide support to both the business and IT. * *21. Leads root cause analysis and provides recommendations for solutions of complex incidents. * *22. Manages, prioritizes and maintains the product backlog of defects and enhancements. * *23. Leads the development and execution of user documentation, training strategy, train the trainer and support for change management activities with the business. * *a. Provides support and leadership in advancing the skill set and improving team practices and processes. o Identifies opportunities to enhance team practices and processes and drives adoption. * *24. Collaborates with team members and mentors less experienced BSAs. * *25. Attends industry forums and participates in internal communities of practice and/or user groups. * *26.
