Possess high degree of technical competency to design and develop internet applications using cutting-edge tools and technologies 2. Support implementation of new development methodologies in the Agile spectrum to transform development processes. 3. Prepare High Level design that is in alignment with the client architectural strategies 4. Participate in requirements walkthroughs to ensure that they are clear, concise and testable 5. Ensure section 508 compliance of all web content and associated files such as PDF's 6. Code, test, debug, implement and document complex programs. 7. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded. Ensure programs meet standards and technical specifications; perform technical analysis and component delivery. 8. Understand *Java* threading model required 9. Have experience in developing *Java* multi-threaded applications 10. Solid grasp on relational database modeling and design 11. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and the Apache Platform. A working knowledge of SQL and Bash Scripting. 12. Experience with Apache HTTP Server and Microsoft SQL databases *REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: * 1. 8+ years of experience in developing applications using *Java*/J2EE and WebServices 2. Core technologies required: *Java*/J2EE, Google GWT, Struts, Design Patterns , UML 3. Experience in implementing critical web-based applications for high-availability applications and experience in SOA a great plus 4. Experience with test driven development, continuous integration and agile development such as Scrum 5. Experience working in security initiatives projects along with project contingency, performance testing and load testing. 6.
