Well, I did it all self study. No classes, etc. I used two books: The Official ISC2 Guide to the CISSP CBK and Syngress' CISSP Study Guide. Another invaluable asset was CCCure.org. I took those quizzes over and over, and communicated with Clement (The site owner) quite regularly. There is a lot of great learning material on that site as well.
