It's been almost 6 weeks since this announcement was sent out and nobody 
indicated on the list yet having any problems with this patent.
If you have any problems, please indicate to the list asap or be prepared to 
speak up at the mike during the f2f. If no issues are raised before or during 
the f2f I'll take that as nobody has any problems.

And just to be clear: None of us in leadership are going to evaluate the merits 
of any patent. Basically what we're asking of the WG is for you all to take a 
look at the information provided in the disclosure and see if this would cause 
you (or anyone else you know of) problems with implementing the current 
protocol interoperably. If so, let the rest of us know why/how, and we can 
discuss whether we need to work around the problem. But it is for each of you 
to evaluate the disclosure and the intellectual property referenced therein.
