IFP/PAC TALKS- Marriage of Convenience or Principled Move

For some time Africanists, specifically those in the PAC fold have had to live
with surprises emanating from those chief anarchists Mphahlele and Skwatsha. I
notice some have been taken up by their latest jinx- talks with the IFP.

Before we can crack our skulls as to whether that move is worth commenting on,
we need to rewind a bit. At Fort Hare in 2008 where they a so-called congress,
to everybody's surprise Skwatsha,Mphahlele invited the Democratic Alliance to
address ghost delegates. Skwatsha was quoted as saying the PAC is contemplating
an alliance with the DA. Now they claim to be talking to the DA. I don't think
the IFP is so desperate to enter into any talks with a bunch of illegitimate
buggers who are out to annihilate and achieve what the enemy of our people
could not achieve-destroy the PAC

I'm still following media reports that IFP has distanced itself from this
reactionary move. I'll keep you posted.

NB

I have deliberately avoided to mount an ideological argument as I believe, this
is not meant to advance any ideological goal but an opportunistice move meant
to further embarass the PAC.

Revolutionary Greetings,

Some have sacrificed their youth and all the pecks that go with being young to
join the PAC and subsequently APLA because of genuine  Africanist ideals
harboured by the two. To see these ideals being pulverized by pens’ strokes
would be a betrayal worse than that of Judas Iscariot. 1. You can’t forge an
alliance with a beleaguered former reactionary party – Gatsha/Msibi IFP. 2. One
must get mandate from branches – what has since happened to democratic
centralism??? 3. Leaders have no plenipotentiary power – tail can’t wag the
head. They are there to serve, members  are actually the head. If leadership
adopts a resolution without the approval of the general membership that’s
dictatorship of the worst kind, and matchpolitik begets resistance. If Letlapa,
as commander in chief of the PAC, turns a deaf ear and chooses the worst of the
two evils in IFP, the lesser being the ANC inspite of its onslaught on us,
resulting in the PAC to be exiled
in exile, he must bear in mind that “A cat has seven lives.” As a former
soldier of APLA he will exactly know what that means. It is not a threat but a
promise!!!
