Dr Maya Angelou,an ardent Pan Africanist is no more. She was a giant in her own right,freedom fighter and a gallant daughter of the soil. Amongst her accolades, was a marriage to a liberation hero, tower of the struggle,Mr Vusumuza Maake A book by Mike Muendane,The leader South Africa never heard was published in honour of "Bra Vus", as she was fondly known. Our flags should fly half mast to give honour to both this giants of our struggle. Condolences to her family.
