A positive contribution indeed. We must finally rebuild and reorganize the party
on the path to execute its historical mandate. One looks forward to
constructive feedback from sons and daughters of the soil to embolden the noble
effort. For all our mistakes as a party and as members, there is always an
opportunity for a fresh start - comrades willing to change and do things
differently so we can become impactful in our revolutionary and political
conduct.Let us coalesce in revolutionary purpose, voice and action. We are each
other's strength. Our people need the PAC today more than they ever needed it
before (this may sound like poetry or romance).By the way we find our selves in
the same condition as 'our' people. We too are in political and economic
bondage. We are not insulated from the trappings of the system. We too need the
freedom. The suffering, oppression and exploitation of our people is ours too.
Their excruciating cry for freedom is ours too and their freedom will be our
freedom. This we must internalize to foster a clear and correct consciousness
that partaking in the struggle for and with our people, we are not doing it out
of pity or favour for them as though our socio-political, cultural and economic
case (as individuals) is better off.But true, we have a bigger responsibility
on our consciences to play a leadership role. Indeed history is staring us in
the eyes, asking us difficult questions and commanding us in our hearts and
minds (every single moment of life) to be the active revolutionary vanguard
that we must be - not armchair revolutionaries that we have reduced ourselves
to for a long-while now.So we must ready ourselves, answer the calling, engage
our people and march with them on the path for socialist change. Lest we betray
our cause. Izwelethu!
