Graham, In the SF6, after selecting the noise you wont to apply on the whole sound file, press alt+d, up arrow once, right arrow and from the directX plug-ins list choose noise reduction. Then choose preset you think is the best and press alt+s. Another dialog pop-ups where you can specify the time interval of your file on which you wish to apply the noise reduction. When you have done it, tab to ok and press enter. Now you are again in noise reduction dialog box and can hear how the file sounds. I suppose the same is in the SF7. Good luck! When using Noise Reduction with Sound Forge 7, I want to take a noise print from the middle of the file and then apply it to the whole file. I can't seem to get the technique of doing it. Sometime ago, I read of a way to select the whole file from within the Noise Reduction preset, but I can't find the spot to click. Can anyone help? _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
