Hi, Shannon, sound recorder only records in .wav format, and does so
for only a minute at a time, so, if I were you, I'd either get total
recorder, either the professional version, which is about $40, or the
standard version which is about $13.  You can go to
http://www.highcriteria.com
to learn more or purchase this, or, get recall pro for about $40 the
last I knew from
http://www.sagebrush.com.  I don't have recall pro, but I have the
standard version of total recorder, and can't say enough good things
about it.
