What didn't you understand about Brian hartgen's tutorial about recording streaming audio? If he did one I certainly don't remember it, the one I do remember was how to download seggments of ACB Radio's Main Menu, which is *different* than what you want to do. What Brian is talking about is downloading the content to your computer, I.e. It's already been recorded and you are downloading it to your computer, as opposed to it playing and you recording it and saving it as a particular file.
You would need a program such as Total Recorder which will record the audio, so you can save it in any file format you want, the smallest and most convenient beingg mp3. So what you want to do is possible, it's simply finding the software to do it.
