Hi Mimi and all, i hadn't really looked into this until now but all this discussion prompted me to check their respective websites, very exciting. in terms of what I've heard I'm especially interested in finding out about the XM options, and like the idea of connecting their receiver to my computer. It seems that many of their channels are the same as Sirius, and I'm not sure that there is anything about the Sirius content that I would prefer at this point. I live outside of New York City in an area where there are a lot of microwave dishes etc., though, and haven't figured out which way my windows face, smile, so am wondering whether to anticipate problems with the XM signal. I guess I'll have to talk to someone locally and try to compare them but don't necessarily want to choose sirius just because the feed is closer. I didn't see disclaimers on the Sirius site about how to set up for best results unless that is buried in the user's manual somewhere. Just wondered whether anyone has used their three-day free trial and what your experience was? Any thoughts and advice appreciated, particularly for someone who has tried or is using both, also the pros and cons of receivers in terms of accessibility. Feel free to write me off list if you'd prefer. Many thanks.
