Sorry I cannot help you, 'cause Idon't use the surround sound myself, but I hope you will be successful at getting your speakers to work. My Aiwa stereo has surround sound, but I have retired it to an encoding machine and that is what I encode my tapes from in real time. Maybe someday I'll have it again with the computer, but I should get a better system than this. Take care and have a nice day.
