I have Windows XP home and the latest version of JAWS and goldwave 5.06. Nothing is spoken automatically. When I go to the menus they work but to see what I am on I have to do a say line. this also has to be done in the dialog boxes. When I tab I then have to do a say line to read what I have tabbed to.
also, when I have goldwave open I can't arrow around or do much of anything in Windows Explorer. Does this happen with anyone else? Is there some setting I can change so that these will be spoken the way they should be? Thanks for any help, Dean I personally know someone who literally is older than dirt.
