The reason I want to convert the files from WMA to MP3 format is so that I can play them on my BookCourier. The BookCourier doesn't support WMA. If I lose something in quality, that's just something I'll have to put up with. To my knowledge, the only way of converting such a file is having the software decode the file and then re-encode it again.
