Dear Norma,

I have done a great deal of recording onto my PC using an XP with Jaws 5. I
have TR set up for default in my 1.51 cd ex
and when I have opened cd ex I do alt- T; R (and usually go up arrow to
reduce the number from 44 to 32 thousand for speech); then tab and chose
either open ended time or arrow down to set time limit on recording; next
tab I go down arrow to use TR as the device; then type heading for the new
file, and proceed on from there. If you want further information on this
approach for taking data from a tape, just let me know.

sincerely,

Lloyd ----- Original Message -----
