Hi Cheryl,
Once you have the cable connected to the cassette player, and the sound
card,
You will need to go to the volume control, and set your recording source to,
line-in,
then choose what application you are going to use for the recording.
You can use GoldWave, however, I am not familiar with the recording setup.
But I can tell you that GoldWave has everyfeature you will need.
Something to keep in mind, if you are recording voice, you may want to set
your recording format to mp3, to conserve disk space,because wav files
typically take up about 10mb per minute.
MP3's take up only about 1mb per minute.
