Hi Doug, The microphone doesn't show up in the playback. Press the alt key for the options menu, then arrow to properties, and press enter Tab once, and you will have a dialogue for adjusting the volume. Arrow to the radio button for recording Now you will have to tab to the okay bvutton and press enter. Now as you tab down through the list you should find microphone, if you don't, go back to properties and tab to the list view, arrow to microphone, and press the spacebar Tab to okay, and when you tab thru the list, you will find microphone.
