Gotta tell you; one of the best sounding bomb boxes I ever heard is a Panasonic; the guy I work with in the band I'm working with has one; don't know the model number. But man..does it ever sound good! It has two microphones..so you can get that good stereo sound; only thing is..it may be a bit big..and I don't know just how good the radio works in it. But I do know that it records really well! Tom Kaufman P.S. I would doubt that they even would make that oparticular model anymore; the one he has is a few years old.
