I'm not familiar with Mix It, so couldn't comment on that. A "line-out" connection simply means that it takes the signal from whatever device you're using and transfers it to somewhere else. The simplest thing to think of is an earphone, where when you plug in the connection the sound or signal coming from the radio speaker is transferred to the headset so you can hear it. What you will need is a plug that connects from your sound source, [radio, Cassette player, etc], to your line-in on your sound card. A visit to your local hifi dealer should get you sorted.
