Vorbis is definitely far better than mp3 :
First on the philosophical level : it is an open-source standard, so no copyrights involved.
2 : the soundquality is far better than mp3 and allows a bigher sampling rate.

A 160kbps ogg will sound clearer than a 320kbps mp3.
I really encourage you to play with it. you'll be really amazed... Ogg vorbis has, in my ears, a siilar quality to the aac format.

Greetings!

This topic has probably been thrashed to absolute hell.

What are peoples thoughts on these 2 compression methods, does one have any
advantages over the other? I've never played with Vorbis.
