You don't. If you are talking about mail attachments, you attach an audio file in the same way you attach any data file, text or otherwise. There is no reason to give audio files any particular distinction apart from any other file. Mail readers, such as Outlook and Eudora carry out this function, not an audio/media player. Can you say apples and oranges <g>?
