Hi,
I would suppose that plugging it into the headphone jack would turn off the speakers, if plugging headphones in does, so your best bet would be a simple y connector, of which others have written. I love the unit and use it every day. I have xm radio in my computer, so I transmit that, I play all my music that way now, making the cd's as obsolete as they themselves made the turntable.

Rusty, Thanks for the info. What happens if you plug it into the headphone jack of the speakers? Does it act like if you put in a headphone in there?
