I'm quite sure that 4 track cassette machines will be with us for a while, (for the musician who is starting out they're a good, reliable and cheap way to get the music recorded).

Try looking for Fostex or Tascam, some units have a dial to adjust the speed of the tape during recording and playback, the lowest speed is likely faster than the normal speed of a tape deck. I'm not sure if anyone still makes something like that or if digital multitracks more or less dominate nowadays. You might find a used one in a buy and sell.
