oK,First, sorry about the capslock glitch in this message. Please ignore it
if you can. WELL THERE ARE MORE THAN TWO ANSWERS HERE Larry. first, UNDER
THE "Add SHOWS" MENU IS AN OPTION TO "MANUALLY ADD A SHOW." this WILL PLACE
THE SHOW AND RELATED MATERIALS (WHICH YOU JUST FILL IN) ON YOUR OWN
COMPUTER. fOR example, I might ENTER A SHOW CALLED "MY SHOW" THEN TAB TO
THE CONTROL PANEL FOR TUNING AND PUT IN HTTP://WFSU.ORG/RADIO.RAM WHICH IS
THE CALL FOR Florida state's TALK STATION (AS OPPOSED TO THEIR MUSIC
STATION.) then ON THE I'd FILL IN WHATEVER THE CHOICE OF STREAMER IS, IN
THIS CASE REAL AUDIO, AND WHEN I GOT TO THE CONTROL TAB I'd ARROW RIGHT AND
FILL IN THE SCHEDULE. when YOU GET TO THE TIME TO ENTER OR STOP, FIRST
COMES THE HOUR. you CAN USE UP AND DOWN ARROWS TO CHOOSE ONE. right ARROW
ONCE AND DO THE SAME FOR MINUTES. right ARROW AGAIN AND YOU CAN PUT IN
SECONDS IF DESIRED. one GOES ON TO FINISH FILLING OUT ITEMS TILL READY TO
PRESS THE FINAL ok.
now TO THE SECONDED ANSWER TO THE FIRST QUESTION: to ADD A SHOW TO THE
PERMANENT DATABASE MAINTAINED ON LINE, YOU GO TO THE WEBSITE AND THERE ARE
OPTIONS THERE FOR ADDING A STATION AND ADDING A SHOW. when ADDING A SHOW,
IT MUST BE PUT IN pacific TIME EVEN THOUGH WHEN IT GETS BACK TO YOUR
COMPUTER LATER, IT IS IN LOCAL TIME. to ADD A SHOW, YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW
THEY STATION STREAM URL AND THEY WOULD LIKE THE TYPE OF STREAM IF YOU KNOW
IT. you CAN ALSO MAKE A COMMENT LIKE: CAR TALK, Monday AFTERNOON VERSION,
OR WSIN A STATION LACKING MORALITY ....
now FOR YOUR SECOND QUESTION, I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE ADD ON PLAYER THAT IS
OFFERED BY REPLAY-RADIO BECAUSE I've NEVER TRIED IT. I USE WINAMP BECAUSE I
CAN DO THINGS LIKE FAST FORWARD, REWIND TO REPEAT SOMETHING, OR JUMP TO A
TIME IF I've RECORDED TWO THINGS TOGETHER, NOT BOTHERED TO SEPARATE THEM
WHEN I PROGRAMMED, AND WANT TO SKIP TO THE SECOND IN A HURRY. in SHORT,
SINCE THE SOLUTION I HAD WORKED WELL FOR ME, I WASN'T TEMPTED TO EXPERIMENT
WITH CHANGING IT.
