import the first file into goldWave. press shift+e this brings up a feature that allows you to enter the time segment you wish to start. the easiest way to do this is to tab twice to the finish time and copy it. shift+tab to the start time and paste. press enter. Now you are at the end of that file. press ctrl+o to open the second file. When it is complete press ctrl+a to select all then copy. Press ctrl+tab to move to the first file and paste. Listen to see if you need to filter out any extra silence.
