Subject: Re: MP3 flash player recommendations

Let me try to clarify. If I understand MP3 players, there are two basic
types of storage: one uses flash memory with no moving parts; the other
uses a hard drive which spins just like a computer hard drive and holds
greater amounts of storage. I thought the Archos players were of the
second type. They may well have flash memory for holding the operating
system but audio file storage is on the spinning drive. I am interested in
the first type with storage in flash memory. Does this type of player
still utilize the Rock Box software?
And, I would still like any and all recommendations on what flash based
players are more accessible. Thanks.
Jeff
