Hi Kris. Are you sure that you're selecting the correct menu option to get the narration? It has been my experience that there is an option on the DVD menu that says something like, "commentary for the visually impaired" or something like that, rather than "audio".. I maybe shooting in the dark but hope that helps anyway.
