I also had to totally remove Winamp from my system about 6 months ago. However, before doing that, try looking at the "title" option in general preferences (Control P). I believe "titles is the third from the top--just under Play Lists. Once you find it, tab through and there are a number of items to check and uncheck. There is also a help section at the end--the fourth fifth or sixth tab along and that may give you some hints re your titles not being displayed while streaming. Also, another possibility--but less likely is in the library (alt l) when in the section called "my new view" there is a checkbox there that says "display information" or something similar. This box should be checked. I know, in my case, this checkbox somehow became unchecked--I noticed a couple of weeks ago and I have no idea how this happened--certainly, I never unchecked it.
