Yes. With two speakers, you can do a lot (virtual surround sound is one fact). I'm actually looking for a new stario system for my room, and will probably end up getting a mini system, because of course, in my room, I have no room for a home theater system (or I'd buy one, if I was that into movies). If I have good base, I'll be fine.
