Hello list Members, I have found that while trying to rip some tracks useing :cd.x,on 2 or 3 particular cd's ,the drive spins very erraticly,on 1 disk for instance I could rip tracks 1 through to 5 quite ok before the drive started spinning erraticly ,and would not proceed past around the 55 % mark,on another the misbehaviourstarted from track 1,I am sure this is not a cd.x problem as I am not having any trouble ripping other disks my question is ,is this behaviour simtimatic of disks that have some sort of write protection?if so I believe their is some Software that can rectify the problem and is Jaws friendly!.Any help would be very much appreciated!.Alan
