Hello Michael Of course I use JAWS to put new MP3 material on and off the Iriver player. Now to your question. The H-10C player uses a valley between the two internal batteries which works as a touch sensitive area that you put your finger on and slide it up and down to change the volume, to change FM Radio stations and to view the selection of MP3 files on the unit and it lets you select Music, Record or FM Radio so it serves many functions. If you could read the list of music files on the unit as you slide your finger up and down to view the list you would push the Select button and it would play that song. As I use it the music starts and there is a forward and reverse button on either side of the Pause/Play button and I simply press one of these to select another song. I use the select button to choose "all" and it plays every thing on the unit! There is no audible Beeps or any indication when you change any thing or press a button. I don't think it has a sleep mode, but can't swear to that. Dick ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Lang" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Thanks for your reply Dick. Do you also press buttons to navigate in the menu or do you have to use a touch sensitive area of the player for that? Do you sometimes have to press a key twice, because the display has turned itself off and the first key press just makes it wake up? This is the case on the H320 and H340. Does the H10 beep, when one presses a key? Thanks again <*** Michael Lang ***> You wrote: > Hello Michael > The Iriver H-10C only has a few buttons that are easy to touch, they stand > out above the surface of the unit. > 1.
