Hi,

         When you install total recorder, you are given the choice to 
install its software driver.  I chose no, or uncheck the box so it 
isn't installed and have no conflicts whatever.  When I let the 
driver install, winamp will no longer play songs with an invalid 
sound driver message.  Without the software driver installed, chose 
the soundboard option while setting up your recordings and total 
recorder is a gem to use.
