I have been using sound forge 8 for a couple of months and am just this evening encountering a problem I haven't had in the past. I have recorded two rather long books in sections, I mean me myself reading them into a microphone and then editing and saving them. Tonight, I am opening previously recorded files and finding that when I play them in Sound Forge, they bleep in and out in this sort of regular pattern and I don't knowwhat I should have a look at. Since I'm not very techy, this may be obvious to many of you, but I would appreciate your help.
