I rarely encountered this audio garbage when ripping to the WMA lossless 
format. It happened with about five or six discs in a row recently, so I 
began to think that there might be a problem with the media player or the 
pc. But I've gone back and re-ripped some of the cd's I ripped months ago, 
and they seem to be fine, so I'm hoping the bad discs wer an anomaly.
