I've got the most up-to-date drivers available, and moving the card isn't an option. According to the Asus motherboard manual, the slot I've got the Creative in shares an IRQ with the Firewire port, so I've even disabled the Firewire port in the BIOS to make sure that the X-FI is the only thing on that IRQ.
