Larry, I can't understand why you feel that adding a pci audio card to your system will void your warrantee. This is a very common thing to do. Disabling your on board audio from within your computers bios does not void any warrantee that I have heard of, nor does adding a pci card of any kind including audio. That is what the pci slots are there for. People do this all the time.
