Tyler I don't know the answer to your question, but thought I might add a
few things that might help.
You can just press alt T for the test filters button, and then alt P to stop
playing. That will save you from having to tab so much.
Actually alt P works to press the stop playing button except for the
normalize filter dialog. And that is because they have also used alt P for
the percent combo box. It shows that although somebody thought to put
shortcut keys in, they must not have actually tried them, ha ha.
Also I was going to suggest you could build a frame around the window with
the help description so as you arrow up and down the filters, you could just
press a keystroke to have it read.
But really once you have read the information with your jaws cursor the
first time and learned what the filters are, you probably won't need to be
reviewing them often. You will just be interested in what you can set in
that window for each filter.
Debbie

Hi,

I just found out something today!

It seems I was looking in the wrong place for the meanings of the
filters--they're all right there in the help! Number 2 is you can test the
filters. Jaws doesn't tell you sometimes (like in the equilizer, for
instance) what is "50 percent). So you test filters (tab to the button) and
keep hitting end and home in the EQ. There are multiple um, I don't know
what they are called...err...progress bars. While your testing the filters
you can fiddle around with these. There are around 4 for bass boost, I'm not
sure. There are a lot, though. Now another question- how do you go about
making a cd that has *no* silence in it at all?

thanks,
Tyler
