This sounds like what I was saying - that the user interface software that 
comes with the SB Live is mostly graphical and inaccessible. But, as I also 
said, most of the things one can do with the software can be done as well, 
if not better, with other software that is accessible. Aren't most of the 
effects your talking about available, for example, in Goldwave and/or 
SoundForge?
