Hello! I am appreciative of all those that employ some sort of naming convention in distributing their podcasts. Those who don't sure cause problems. I subscribe to one that seems to employ a naming scheme that I can't fathom. I've written to the webmaster of the site about it and he has responded. Obviously, they are aware of the problem. They claim they anticipate changing it to cause the filenames to make more sense, but they don't seem to know how soon they will do this. Now I suppose that many podcasts don't really have a prescribed order. But even if that is true, it would certainly be easier to locate specific ones in the folder if some thought were given to creating filenames that made sense.
So far, the only strategy that I've been able to find to combat this is by manually reviewing the files and renaming them as best I can. Does anyone here have a better way of managing this?
