Ron,

If you go into the settings list on your BookCourier by pressing the
left-most key on the bottom row, there is one option called Auto Advance,
which when set to Yes will allow the BookCourier to play files continuously,
so that when one track comes to an end, the next one will start playing
automatically without you having to go into the library to move to the next
file every time

HTH,

Caroline.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the info. At the moment I am stumped. I went to the Sony dealer,
here in Malta, and he only imports 2 models neither of which have a resume
facility. I then bought a Plips machine (the identical model to that
recommended by Calibre) but that only "remembered" the place in the track
for about 3 minutes after switchoff. I experimentally copied a few tracks
onto my Book Courier and it definitely kept my place. One (acceptable) snag
is that Book Courier stops at the end of each track and I need to select
library and go to the next item. The CD has 2 files DESK TOP_DF and
DESKTOP_DP. Have these got something to do with the progressing from track
to track? Any ideas?

Ciao,

Ron.
