By doing a control tab, you also get to your CD drives page. On this page do you have the drive selected from which you are ripping? If windows is not seeing the drive from which you are ripping, it could be because you have not selected that drive on the drives page or tab. The my music folder is where all my music is stored and f is the name of the drive where the folder is located. You likely know most of this but just trying to be thorough. Alternatively, get a friend to send you their .ini file. The directory where I store my ripped music is F. I rip my tracks from my E drive. I use the Freid data base for gathering my CD information. So, everyone's configuration will be slightly different but, by looking at a correctly configured .ini file, you will at least be able to rule out several possible problems. Finally, if you have an earlier version such as 1.6 that worked correctly, you might want to try and use that version in the interim. Another possibility is to get the paid version of Winamp.
