I sometimes worry that a laser lens cleaner might not be safe in a cd or DVD
computer drive because they spin so fast. Most drives run at normal speed
when a standard music cd is running and I think the cleaners look like an
audio disk to the player. However, I had a plugin for Winamp that ran audio
disks at 4x or higher to improve the scanning of the data. That's when I
started wondering if a lens cleaner might be unsafe to run in some systems.
