Green play is best for playing selected audio and yellow is best for playing unselected audio. hope I don't have this backwards.
Each tutorial and person are going to have there prefered ways they like to set up goldwave. So use them all with a grain of salt and setup things the way you will most likely use them. I know the objective is to get green to play one part of a file and yellow to play another, such as the selected portion. Now I need to determine again which settings are ideal for green and yellow play in this tab.
