Well, i'd have to agree  with joe there on the fact that your friend, will 
wanna know the songs he can do. As joe, told you the karaoke music does have 
the words piop up on the screen but that's like handing a blind person a 
sheet of paper with print on it.
No good!
So yeah getting really familior with the song, making sure thad your friend, 
actually reviews the song like maybe 3 times or more before performing it 
live is good too.
This way  when stage time comes, and he has to perform the song he's 
confident that he's got it.
