It could be a bug. Two broadcasters have told me that they find version 5.24
the most stable...

You can find it at oldversions or someone may have it.

Just because a new version comes out doesn't mean you have to upgrade unless
there are serious security issues or it has a feature you want.

Just my opinion,

Judy

If it were buffer overrun, why would it do it on this version and not a
previous one?

Subject: problems with winamp

| When I try playing streaming audio with winamp it cuts out for about a
second every 13 seconds. I don't think its my connection speed as I have dsl
and get a speed of about three meg. I installed the newest winamp and still
had the problem so I went back to 5.24 since it seems to read better with
Jaws 7. Does anyone else out there have this problem and can you help
please?
| Thanks, Joe.
