Under EZ Clean, there are several choices for removing tape hiss. I 
generally try the setting labeled aggressive first. If that adds distortion 
I back it off to the "average setting. If neither does what I want then I 
get into noise reduction. Often though, the EZ clean settings work just 
fine, and you can always create your own filter modifications just as in 
GoldWave and probably Sound Forge.

I can't speak to reducing FM noise. I've never tried it.
