Hi Darrell,
I'm not sure about digital cable, I just have basic hooked directly into the
card which is 125 channel. My guess is that a converter box going into the
card set to the appropriate channel like in the old Vcr days would act
similarly.

Does the Hauppauge work with digital cable?  If you're using it with digital
