Hi, John! Wish I could help. I know that I've had that problem, but it's usually when a CD is scratched or dirty. I'm sure this isn't the case with yours. Sounds like there could be some sort of software to work around. I did have one CD that absolutely wouldn't allow me to rip it, although it played just fine. I would imagine the same thing was going on with it. Hopefully, someone will be able to come up with a solution. Take care!
